Actually, they were both arrested for vehicle-related charges and then found to be under the influence/in possession of heroin.

Britt pulled up next to someone and pulled a gun. The late Garrett ran a red light and hit someone, nearly killing them.

Wow, what an a-hole thing to say.

I dont think you understand addiction.

It has to be a terrible feeling to watch your child kill himself through addiction. Hope Andy can get his other son to take note.

I understand addiction....and I agree. He chose to continually poison himself and not do the things necessary to stay clean.
Condolences to the family and friends!

It is always sad when a family loses a son. However, he was a junkie, who got high, seriously injured an innocent person and continued to use. frick him, he had no place in society. He OD'd, watch.... karma works.

Everyone understands what an addiction is, but I think you need to realize that an addiction can be beat. It's a constant struggle, but it can be done

Mmmm no, we all understand addiction.

two things though.

1) I've never tried anything that might possibly be addicting.

2) Addiction can be beat

3) If you don't try to beat it, you're being incredibly selfish and hurting everyone around you.

Damn, this sucks. I hope Andy gives himself enough time to grieve. Personally I would be taking the year off to re prioritize life and whoop the shite out of my other son into sobriety. :toughlove:
