I just started watching this a few weeks ago and I know it's been around for a few years but does anyone still watch? What these men and women do is pretty amazing to me.

ANW is far better to me. Takes a lot of athletic ability and strength to do what these people do in my opinion.

Not much beats the original Ninja Warrior (Sasuke) from Japan, with the fireman and my personal favorite
The fisherman Makoto Nagano

I like it. I wish they had to do more leg oriented stuff. I feel like it's all about shoulders and forearm strength.

Legs would negate women. They aren't having them run 2 separate courses.
I enjoy the show too. My 7 year old loves it. I am, however, waiting for somebody to seriously get fricked up. The obstacles are getting more extreme and higher. The landing areas are getting smaller. Jumping down from 12' onto a mat about as big as a full size mattress is not the most ideal. Also the higher up these guys go the narrower those safety/landing pools get.
Last night the propellor obstacle is stupid. They've figured it out but it spins too fast. Somebody is gonna get their face split open. Or rupture a spleen shorting a landing on a mat and catching the edge with their abdomen.

The parkour guys are always so douchy. The rock climbers always dominate.

Love watching this show, only small complaint is while making the obstacles more complex they've made them way more about grip strength/climbing ability and less and less about speed, mobility and balance.
I get why, the more obstacles that are built on power and speed, the less chance women have of succeeding. But it also ridiculously benefits upper body endurance (perfect for climbers) and smaller competitors who don't have much body mass to move.

Bring back Wipeout. Obstacles were hard and no one was athletic.
I like ANW though, no way could I do any of that stuff.
