Had to go look his stats up because this thread made me wonder if he went for over a hundred on a great catch to target ratio.

Jerraurd Powers stuck Coop though

Na, Coop beat him a few times too, but CaRR sailed the ball over his head. Coop probably would have had 100 if Carr wouldn't have been inaccurate on a few throws when he was wide open.

Peterson is awesome, isn't a story at all that he got beat on that play. Cooper's route running ability is insane, he will burn a lot of good CBs this year.

What's the big deal? CBs get beat sometimes.

A corner in the NFL gave up a catch? Wow, he should be cut. Everyone knows a good corner never gives anything up

Chris Harris AND Aqib Talib are both better than Patrick Peterson, as he doesn't deserve to be mentioned with the others in your OP.

The fact that people still don't acknowledge Chris Harris among the top 5 at his position is laughable. The guy is amazing.

According to Larry Leo, Revis is a scrub because OBJ caught a pass outside of the field of play and then bumped into him after a 6 yard catch

Amari Cooper is awesome. I thought he was the best player in college football last year, and I would've taken him with the first pick (mainly because I'm not a believer in either of the top two QB's). I think he's gonna be great.

He is pretty much top 5 in every category. A month ago someone posted TD stats and completion stats and PP was #4 on both. Somehoe PP has become the most underrated player in the NFL on this board

4 catches off of 9 targets That catch for 36 yards was half of his total of 62 yards receiving
So in other words, PP shut him down

Per PFF, Peterson guarded Cooper 2 times. 2 catches. 49 yards.
Oh so is now the time when we actually look at who the cornerback guards? Because usually that is a "cop out"

Since we decided to bring in actual stats, PP is top 5 in tds allowed while being 3rd in terms of guarding the #1 WR. So people saying he isnt a top corner are delusional

Pro Football Focus ?@PFF Jul 11
TDs allowed on CBs over past 3 seasons:
1. Chris Harris 3
2. Richard Sherman 6
3. Darrelle Revis 6
4. Joe Haden 16
5. Patrick Peterson 21

I mean my work in this thread is to call anyone who says PP isnt a top cornerback a dumbass. It is that simple.

He only played half the game my man

And PP only lined up on him 2 times, resulting in the bulk of Coop's damage. Who knows how bad it would have been had Coop played 4 quarters.
