If it goes longer then it gives Brooks some more time to tinker with lineups too. I'm interested to see how Reggie Jackson does since they will bump his minutes up and require him to be more than a 10-20 minute energy guy.

Yeah for OKC to advance in the playoffs, Ibaka and Reggie will both have to step up big time. I can see Ibaka doing this but I don't know if Reggie is capable.

@MagicJohnson: Russell Westbrook has really matured and had an All NBA 1st Team season this year. I have really come to love & respect his skills on the court.

Magic Johnson just tweeted this.

Let's see if everyone holding Magic's opinions as the word of God will come back in here and reconsider their opinions.

Um they've been to the playoffs more this century than the Thunder. Also to answer your question only one less time. I love fans of teams who just ran into recent success.

BTW:

Also had this to say:

@MagicJohnson: He is one of 5 unique players in the NBA. LeBron, Kobe, Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin are the other 4!

I guess it was ok when Westbrook tried to hurt Lebron and Kobe. THUG POS imo

Look at that hissy-fit Lebron threw...oh wait. Look dangit...after that play Westbrook can literally NEVER say shite about a hard foul. That's like randomly killing someone dog for no reason...then getting mad when someone does it to you. CAN'T GET MAD. What he did to Lebron was 3627483 times worse than what Beverly did. That video should put this to rest. I feel bad that Westbrook got hurt but it is what it is. Absolutely nothing wrong with the play.

Is that the d-bag who always breaks down the Thunder losses and rips Russ?

I bet PurpleDrank is like that guy IRL.

Yea Westbrook is unique if you've never seen Rose play.

Rose played this year? Had no idea. How'd he do exactly?

Kidding aside, we have no idea what type of player Rose will be coming back off of an ACL tear.

If he loses even a smidge of that explosiveness, what will that mean for him?

Didn't realize Rose wasn't in the NBA anymore because he missed a season.

I'm on my phone but I would imagine if you pulled up Rose's numbers from last year and Westbrook's numbers from this year they'd be pretty damn similar.

ETA: And you're still ignoring a pretty huge unknown: what will Rose be like with a surgically repaired knee?

That's not what he's saying. He's saying you're acting like Westbrook is a once in a generation athlete with a revolutionary play style for a pg and he's saying we've seen that with Rose's career.
