for all the people talking about how much better the east is now, there is one player on the first and 2nd all nba teams from the eastern conference.

Overall they've gone from really bad to decent. The middle of the conference is at least respectable these days.

2 in Reb
2 in Blks
Top 5 rim protector
Elite finisher

Other than FTs he does what most want your center to do better than anyone in the league.

DeAndre Jordan's free throw percentage (43%) is higher than the number of first place votes he received (39)

that's fricking sad. '

does anyone really believe DeAndre Jordan is the most valuable pace of the clippers team? Because that's what this is basically saying

I could read this on a piece of paper on the ground and know that you wrote it.

That isn't what this is saying at all. This is saying the Clippers have the best C on their team. They've got a pretty damn good PG, but he isn't one of the two best in the league, so he didn't get the same level of votes.

But they don't have the best center.

It's weird to see Boom argue with his alter.

But I guess that's how you throw people off

This list, though, does show why the designated C position should be eliminated on All-NBA teams.

You can make a case they don't even have the 2nd best center

Hassan Whiteside

blocks: 3.7
rebounds: 11.8
FT%: 65%
PPG: 14.2
PER:25.5

DeAndre Jordan

blocks: 2.3
rebounds: 13.8
FT%: 43%
PPG: 12.7
PER: 20.6

Cousins is the best center but his team always sucks and a lot of it is because of him. Green could've gotten it but no one other player IMO.

The Center position is healthier than you think, talent wise.

Bosh, Gasol could've been in the mix.

If Howard played with some unselfish guards

If the Pels were playing AD at the right position.

If the voters had acknowledged a rookie.

If Whiteside wasn't hunting for blocks that caused him to get benched.

If the talent is there at the Center position then it should be perfectly fine to compete against the best Forwards in the league for a spot.

Well if you go that way you should just eliminate positions designation for the team all together
