Agreed, but at the top of his game, he's the only one that I've seen that could be comparable.

I got to see him in person once. Game at the Igloo against the Caps. He scored on a breakaway.
He could singlehandedly take over a game and crush the other team. Nobody today can do that. There was a playoff game against the Hated Flyers where he had 5 goals and 3 assists.

I just saw that tonight. Sydor also named a coach. As long as Brodeur stays on staff I'm happy.
Great Game 7 by both teams. It doesn't get any better unless it's Game 7 of Stanley Cup Finals. I didn't see Senators getting this deep in playoffs.

I'll adjust the title, but we'll keep the thread.
Game 7 OT is always cool, and I think it was a good thing for hockey in general that the trap was defeated. And we get a great matchup in the finals between two great teams, and a clear deliniation of good and evil.

It's cheaper for me to fly to Pittsburgh for game 1 or 2 than to go to 3 or 4 (assuming you could actually get a ticket)

The treatment of PK Subban was unconscionable and is grounds for firing every single person in the Habs organization. I agree with the rest of the article, but really, you just needed that section.

We lucked up and the Preds released a couple hundred to the general public this morning and we got two of them for game 3 right when they opened the system. Thought we were going to be able to have friends who have season tickets request them when they opened up requests for season ticket holders earlier in the week, but none of our connections could get into the system before it sold out.
It was looking like we were going to have to dish out at least a grand a piece to go but got really, really lucky on this one. I guess going to games for 18 years gave us some good karma.

Cheapest ticket in Pitt is $217. I could get a hotel for $150, and a flight for $250 for a grand total of $617.
Where the cheapest game 3 ticket in Nashville is currently $944. Crazy
