Easy guy to root for. Staying humble and remembering where you came from. It'll be an everyday reminder.

Yeah, I know. And I was explaining why it's still different.

Compared to the cars that most NFL players drive, I believe the obvious answer would be hell no.

Am I the only one hoping it doesn't come back with giant rims and candy colored stripes down the side? That would really ruin the story.

Wonder why Yahoo omitted this part:

quote:

But Morris says the car won’t be radically different.“It’s not like ‘Pimp My Ride’ or anything like that,” Morris said. ”I’m not into that type of stuff anyways."

It might be.

1. I'm assuming that Mazda is doing it for free.
2. He already kept the Mazda before any of this when he could have gone out and blown that money on a luxury car.
3. At this point it is more symbolic than anything.

My guess is the Mazda was his first car. If ya'll had the money to do so, how many of you would refurbish your first vehicle so that you could keep it. Assuming your first vehicle wasn't a total piece of shite and you had good memories of it. I probably would. Even if I had other vehicles.

I mean if you wanted to restore it to its pre-shite status, by all mean. I just figured we'd have a lot of "Hell no. My first car was a piece of shite. I was happy to get rid of that thing. Why would I restore it."

I would pay to have it as one of the cars that get trashed in those Monster Truck Shows

I need to get famous so Mazda can give me my first car, a Mazda 929, refurbished. That thing had oscillating fan vents!

Sounds like a guy who won't be bankrupt in 5-10 years like the majority of NFL players. Smart dude.

I wouldn't mind having a refurbished version of my first car, a 1992 Ford Taurus

I remember watching a thing on his car and he said his preacher gave him the car so he could get to church. He kept it as a reminder to always be humble.
