They remind me a lot of LSU 2011 actually. They play great defense and special teams, and their offense has a strong running game. LSU had a few games where they stalled on offense and their STs and Defense gave them short fields etc.

Hurts is light years better than either Lee or Jefferson.

We know the Herman side to side stuff from two years ago, but also, OSU started to take over against a great Michigan defense yesterday by wearing them out with the uptempo.
I think this defense is MUCH more suited to defend that stuff than the 2014 defense. This defense is just so goddamn fast. And they play just as physical as they play fast.

If I remember correctly, Collins and Ragland were in and out of that game. And they were KEY to the defense being able to be in the right place and plug holes. Without them playing lights out, there were plenty holes to run through and plays to be made. On top of that, y'all did a great job of holding blocks all the way to the sideline and Zeke was great at being patient and finding openings. Add the deep throws and having to deal with Cardale's massive arse, and Alabama's defense just wasn't up to the task.

The amount of players who are fast and good at stopping the run to all parts of the field on this year's defense is just amazing. There are about 6 guys who can and do blow up plays by themselves.

We might not even see OSU v Bama. I think OSU loses to Clemson.

Ehhh, those scores aren't entirely indicative of the success each had.
Exactly. Hell, one of the late Ole Miss TDs was against a damn true freshman WR I'm not sure how many snaps Diggs has had in the secondary this year, but he's played plenty WR. The hell was he out there? I think he even played WR in that game. Ole Miss has beaten Alabama 2 times in a row and Alabama throws a guy into the secondary against Kelly who has been playing WR and PR for the previous 50 minutes of the game. Jeez

Ole Miss made their plays and got their yards, though. Gotta give em credit. Not sure if OSU will be able to throw the ball like Ole Miss did.

I don't really know what to think of either of those teams. I watch them and think, "well, shite. They're missing something and just too flawed."

But, I know damn well what they are/should be capable of. I wouldn't be shocked at all if one of them got a win against Alabama.

I don't trust Kiffin to call a good game. And I don't trust Hurts to play mistake free football for 60 minutes. So basically I think anything could happen. But if those two things happen, I doubt anybody would have a chance to beat the Tide this year.

I agree. The only teams with a shot against Bama are tOSU, Michigan and Clemson.

I don't think Michigan is getting in.

I don't think that tOSU has the OL or QB to beat Bama.

Clemson provides the best match up but if I had to set a line on a neutral field, I would probably say Bama minus 8 or 9.

Bama is going to murder the 4th seed assuming it's not Ohio State.
