Advice on redesigning a HS uniform

Friend of mine is a HS coach and they're getting new uniforms as part of some grant, IDK. Current uniforms are as plane as you can think, no stripes, but school name in back.
He has to submit ideas. Any thoughts?
It's a HS in the west, rural area, school name is same as town. Team colors are orange and black, mascot is tigers and their logo is like Mizzou:
I suggested basically Catholic high with a Bengals striped helmet

Coming from ex NCAA Equipment guy and former NFL equipment guy here are my suggestions...
Make sure the pant stripe and helmet stripe match
Make sure it is a uniform that can be reordered as you want to buy fill ins not whole sets later. Longevity leads to tradition and sense of pride for town and school.
Use the main colors only do not try to get too fancy.
If using all one color make sure the colors match.

What's the name of the school? Let us see the current uniform so that we can have a better idea of what we are working with.

White helmets are easiest and cheapest to replace.

I like your suggestions but they should get white pants instead of black

Do not go black-on-black or orange-on-orange.

The sleeves are tacky.

Use Louisville's uniforms as a template, especially the font
