They have to be the worst sports city in America when you consider the fact that they have four major sports teams yet haven't come even close to sniffing a title since 1998.

You know it's bad when you get out-Atlanta'd by Atlanta for a conference finals spot...

fricking DC sports. It's just insane how unclutch they are across the board. The Caps and Nats failures are comical at this point. I refuse to buy a Caps playoff ticket until they make it past the second round. I've been to Wizards,Skins, and Nats playoff games and I've never seen a win.

Good. Everything in DC should fail.

Working around DC it truly makes the radio worth a listen. Except for the caps, man do I want the caps to do well.

I have some sympathy for the younger DC guys, but the older dudes at least got to see some Skins Super Bowl wins. Does anyone even really care about the Nats? I mean, it has to be a tease to have talent like Harper, Scherzer, and Strasburg. But, there can't be that much passion as I assume everyone was an Os fan up there until 10 years ago.

When you don't expect to win it makes defeat much easier.

It's not like it's terrible. The Redskins used to be really good under Gibbs, couple of Super Bowls. They are actually decent now and made the playoffs last year. The Nats are a good team, they just had lots of injuries this year. So it may have been a few years but it isn't like this is Cleveland pre-Lebron.
