Huh? The guy has played football his entire life, and his "reaction" when he fumbles in the super bowl is to prance around it and not try and recover it? Ok...

Yet one has a Super Bowl ring and the other does not.

And one had to go through the "greatest of all time" Peyton Manning era to do so. Manning went 13/23 for 141 and a pic in this game and the Panthers STILL couldnt get it done. Instead, Newton flopped around on the ground like a little bitch.

yes...?

you honestly think he had enough time to actually think about what he was doing in that situation? or was he natural reaction self preservation and to avoid contact?

that was all natural reaction

I'm trying to figure out if you are stupid or the 6 years of "butthurt" Cam has caused just clouds your judgement.

Cam is .500 against the Saints when we have our coach. But yea, I guess he owns us.

I don't think so. I do think Carolina's front office is in trouble, though. Not giving Cam offensive playmakers has finally caught up with them. I didn't think they would get this far, but the Super Bowl really showed how little they had offensively.

It's tough to get back to the Super Bowl and they may never get back there as a team. They will be NFC playoff contenders, but getting back to the Super Bowl? That's tough.

it also didn't help that Denver knew what they were going to to do all game

quote:

Ward was asked if the Panthers showed them anything that they didn’t expect. “No. We read them like a book.”

“They did everything we watched on film,” said fellow safety Darian Stewart.

The safeties weren’t the only ones saying this. Marshall, when asked the question, laughed. (Causing linebacker Todd Davis, one locker over, to also laugh.) “They did everything that we saw on film,” Marshall said. “That’s the crazy thing. You’d think with two weeks to prepare for the Super Bowl, they would do a new wrinkle. They did everything the same. Nothing new.”

Cam has taken and delivered more hits in 5 years than Drew has in 15 or however long he's been stat accumulating.

He's also batting 1.000 in the Super Bowl, another stat he accumulated that Cam won't touch

Yeah, their playcalling was pretty atrocious.

They had plenty - the Denver D played a better game however. The same defense that didn't let two great QB's throw a TD pass in the playoffs before the SB.

Yea he took over the worst team in the NFL in Drew Brees' prime, since then Cam 3 division titles, Drew 1.

You clearly missed my point. If you've played football your entire life, diving on a fumble to recover it should happen without even thinking. He clearly DID think about it and decided it wasn't worth diving after it. That was a pussy move plain and simple. I'd be irate if I was a Panther fan.

That's a penalty. You can't intentionally kick it.

Better to get a flag than lose possession.

How many had Drew made it to 5 years into his career? How many MVPs had he won?

Oh that's right he got run out of town for Phillip Rivers.

Even when you try to change the original terrible argument, you still suck.
