You have to realize that the city of Baltimore didn't have any choice. They tried to get an expansion franchise desperately in 1993, was clearly deserving of a team, and got screwed over by the NFL. I mean, they chose fricking Jacksonville over us. Paul Tagliabue said Baltimore was better off building a museum than having a NFL team. If Cleveland hadn't left for Baltimore, I'm convinced that Baltimore would still be without a NFL team today. They were really left with no other choice than to steal a football franchise away from another city.
