That's a lot of hype for Minny.

Didn't the Hawks have like the most wins in the NBA regular season just a couple years ago?

Too bad all of the Hawks fans have disappeared. They used to be so mad about people doubting their squad.

Well, it's not a projection of overall team ability, just the individual strengths of the starting 5s of each team. It's much harder to quantify Pop and Spurs team basketball in something like this.

It actually makes perfect sense. WARP of based on +\- and possessions/minutes on court.

Since that is only the WARP of starters, the Spurs, and their limited started minutes but deeper bench, will have a lower projected WARP in this case.

It seems nearly impossible to project the 76ers but I'll be interested in how they do this year. I guess 18th is about right although there may be upside to that projection.

people are still mad that the Hawks had a really good team and have made the playoffs 10 times in a row? Why?

It's tank time now baby.

Woj has lowered himself to the Adam Schefter move of making the same announcement 5 minutes after his rival broke it, but he puts some bogus condition to the statement to make it seem like it's a better scoop
