Kaepernick was given the Len Eshmont Award, which is the most prestigious team honor which is voted upon by players.

The award is given annually to the player who embodies Eshmont’s “inspirational and courageous play.” Previous winners include Hall of Famers such as Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Ronnie Lott all the way to early players such as Y.A. Tittle, Joe Perry, Bob St. Clair, and Leo Nomellini.

Figures this loser would win the team award for a franchise that is 2-13.

Well this certainly explains the 2-13 record if their perception of courage is starting a movement kneeling during the National Anthem and supporting Fidel Castro.

I have this crazy opinion that the 2-13 record and the award have nothing to do with each other.

Why does his explain the 2-13 record? One doesn't really lead to the other

The franchise bears no resemblance to the one that dominated the league years ago.

One Super Bowl appearance in past 20+ years,

Dominated league...

Harbaugh is a warlock for being able to squeeze out as much talent from Kaep as he did.

That team was a monster and then within 3 years it's burnt to the ground.

Used to be a fan of his. Liked his story but he has obviously gone off the rails. Has made a bunch of money and doesn't care about football anymore.

I'm not saying he deserved an award but you literally can't make any rational argument that what he did was not courageous.

Also, lol at thinking their record has anything to do with this.
