It will be interesting to see how Kap handles a road game in the playoffs not to mention its the NFC Championship game

1. He's not a "rookie"
2. He went to Gilette stadium in Dec ,a place where nobody had won during that month in 11 yrs,and shite stomped the Patriots for 3/4 of the game.
3. He won on the road in New Orleans, I was there , against a very game team in one of the toughest Domes in the league.

^^^^^^^^
SF to Atl on a private charter plane takes 5-6hrs? Its not like they are flying to London.
They dont change the rules on the road or in the playoffs. Score more than the other guy by any means necessary. KISS method.

The travel aspect is the most overrated thing

No check in
No security
No layovers
No connecting flights

They just show up and play on their iPad for 4 1/2 hours

I used to think the same thing, but players seem to think it matters.

Throwing off your rhythm that you've been in for months on end by a few hours can wreak havoc on some players. All it takes is for it to affect a team for even one quarter, and it can cost them the game.

I feel as good as you can feel in this situation. We definitely have the better team. But at this point it's 1 and done and the falcons are more than capable.

Sorry. Ill never believe that. If SF loses its going to be because of the QB. Kaepernick makes or breaks them.

I don't think it's as big a factor as everyone makes it out to be, but I don't think it has ZERO affect on a team.

It's a 4.5 hour flight and a 3 hour time shift. I'm not saying it matters but it definitely doesn't help. I fly to the west coast from ATL about 10 times a year and its pretty awful.

Good year for you huh? Your arch rival Nick saban and bama beat les titles and LSU, then win the NC, and to top the year off the falcons win the NFC south and make it into the playoffs while the saints sit at home

So what you're saying is right now we are dealing with what you deal with year in and year out?

The ignorance of people on this site bruises my mind.

What the hell are you Failcon fans smoking? The only QB in the NFC South that has ever been to a NFC Champiosnhip game is Drew Brees.

How about saying, let's see how either of these QBs handle their first NFC Championship game.

Colin K cake walked into his, Matt Ryan got lucky.

The absolute blindness of your fanbase is why y'all are a laughing stock.

what day do they fly out usually? Fri or Sat?

If they fly in Fri. You have plenty of time to adjust to the time zone

such a scary team losing to and tying the rams.

ya'll lost to the Saints..with our excellent defense. Just sayin'

ETA: I have no idea who will win this game. Atl is better than I gave them credit for, but San Fran is a scary team

Did I say that Ryan has been to the NFC Championship?
No, you're just retarded. I was making it a point that Kap is a young QB heading into his first road playoff game that just happens to be in the NFC Championship Game

Matt Ryan got lucky

Oh please tell me how he got lucky. The guy is 7-1 in games that go down to the wire this year, I'd say that's more clutch then lucky.

It would be much bigger deal if the game were at 12 Eastern.

Only thing that worries me about this is that San Fran will be traveling across the country with a rookie QB on the road.
SF has played 7 games in the Eastern time zone since Harbaugh took over. They have won 6, the lone loss coming to the other Harbaugh.

There are 100 other more relevant variables.
