What a GREAT opening day of the 1st round!

Duke & JHU sent packing.

Sunday's games better be just as entertaining if lacrosse wants to keep growing new fans & more TV time.

And unseeded Towson takes down the defending National Champs on their home field!

What. A. Game. #MayMadness

I recorded all the games, but haven't been able to watch it all, yet.

Towson taking out Denver, that's incredible, and at Barton. Denver were unbelievably sloppy, and it didn't look as if Connor Cannizaro was in the game at all. The same for Myles Jones in the Duke v. Loyola game. Loyola did a real number on Jones and Class. The #8 hurt them in the first half, but then Loyola tightened up, and shut him down, as well. Jacob Stover was a madman in goal.

I was wrong on all of my assumptions, or almost all of them.

Towson almost spit the bit. They had a 3 goal lead with a minute left, and only won by one, when Denver had possession. It got tense. Honestly, Towson dominated that game throughout, but had problems finishing. Denver was lucky to still be in the game. Towson just came out guns blazing.

How about that Syracuse comeback against Albany?

I noticed the score, but haven't watched the game yet. My son thinks Blaise Riordan is a beast.

DU Hopkins and Duke are out first round?

That is a good thing somewhat for the sport. I think the more success DU has though the game will grow in the West.

Maryland - Cuse & Navy - Brown Today.
Brown's best player, Dylan Molloy, is out with a broken foot.

ND - UNC & Loyaloa -Towson tomorow.

Maryland-Cuse is right now. It's on ESPNU and the Terps haven't choked on their lead yet.

The Maryland Cusa game was unreal. The Terps are on a serious run.

Brown winning without Molloy is scary. If they can boot him up next weekend, things can get REALLY interesting.

2 BIG games taking place in The Horseshoe tomorrow. Hope they have a decent crowd.

VERY surprised that ND basically didn't show up against UNC today. I wonder if they just thought they had it in the bag & were making plans for Philly in their heads?

Was really pulling for Towson to get the W this afternoon to toss another new face in the Final 4.

With 3 "new" teams headed to The Link, I wonder how this will affect attendance for the entire weekend & ratings on TV. I'm obviously hoping for the best in a long time. But I fear without Notee Dame, the audiences won't be what the could've been.

Anyone with their pick for the National Champion: Maryland, Brown, UNC, or Loyola?

I will likely be wrong. I would like to see Maryland break their hoo doo, if we are down to these four. Jacob Stover is hot, right now.
