Who do you have? BAMA's offense will have a hard time keeping up if USC and UT keep the turnovers to a minimal.

I think Bama would probably split. Lose to USC and beat UT.

Add Ohio State 2005. They were just as good as 2005 Texas and better than USC.

You Ohio state fans are insufferable. Every single CFB post on the MSB doesn't have to be about OSU. And no they weren't. USC and Texas were both superior

I'm a Bama fan, but both of those teams would exploit our main weakness. They both would score some serious points. I tend to lean toward the superior defense and superior lines in a championship game. If Bama lost, it wouldn't be by double digits.

The two loss Ohio State team that again didn't win it's conference was better than the runner up who lost in the last second of the national title game?

Bama is at least a 10 point underdog to both

It's not that the team is chock full of the best players ever, but it's that there are a lot of really good athletes in a proven, effective system. A Bama game is like a Floyd Mayweather fight. It isn't spectacular, it's just efficient. They wear you down with what I would argue is the best 2/3 deep roster of anybody in the country.

They play outstanding assignment defense, and force the other team to make mistakes, which in turn makes things easier for the offense.

'05 VY would shite on Bama. He's literally exactly the kind of quarterback you've gotta have to beat Saban. '05 USC, not so sure. But I'd bet on both the '05 teams against this years version of Bama

OSU is the best team every year. Even when they lose they are better and it was a "fluke."

Texas had a top 5 defense that year. USC was like the 40th best D.

Both the 05 teams would score enough to beat bama.

As one poster suggested, vy is exactly the type of qb that gives nick saban's defense problems.

I will give the same answer I always do in these 2016 Bama hypothetical threads..

2011 UA is the best team in our history and IMO the best CFB team I've ever seen.

2011 UA had the best defense in CFB history, had a far better offensive line and power running game and AJ (when healthy) was a far better passer than Hurts.

2016 UA could beat those 2005 USC and UT teams. 2011 UA WOULD beat those two teams
