ULM's basketball team isn't as bad as their record suggests. They've had some tough breaks. I think Richard is a good coach.

Tulane lost 66-60 to Tulsa. The wave never lead in the game except for about 30 seconds. Very tough season mercifully comes to an end. Good news is we return most of our best players and will be getting some help next season with transfers.

Theyre just frustrating as hell to watch in the second half of games. We would play well in the first 20 minutes more often than not and hten come out and fold somewhere in the second half usually. No doubt richard is a good coach we just ahad a lot of holes to fill. If we can get someone to run the point to fill in for capola i think well return more to the form weve had the two seasons prior to this one.

Tech's usually been the opposite, we've kept it close in the first before making adjustments and breaking away at halftime

Didn't look it up but did you mean Texas Southern?

ULM out falling 63-51 to Texas State after a slow start.

Tech gets dropped after Marshall scores a CUSA tournament record 19 three's to win 93-77.

UNO and the Cajuns look to keep Louisiana's hopes alive with tips at the top of the hour in the Southland semis and Sun Belt quarters, respectively.

Thanks for updating. Grambling lost to Texas Southern 57-62 also.

So as you said UNO and ULL as well as Southern are the only remaining Louisiana teams with a chance to make the tournament.

Still surprised we won. We were projected to be bottom 3 in the conference and we've actually had a pretty solid season after finishing 4th. We beat Arlington once already but no way we pull that off again.

I forgot about our SWAC brethren. Looks like it's up to South LA to carry the banner for a lackluster year for Louisiana Basketball.

The Cajuns fall 86-76 to Georgia St, got in a big hole early and couldn't over come a slow first half.

UNO beats Sam Houston 75-63 to advance to the Southland championship game tomorrow against either Stephen F Austin or AM Corpus Christi.

Southern leads Alcorn State early in the SWAC semis.

Alcorn State knocks out Southern in the SWAC semis 81-59. The Jags had two long scoring droughts that allowed Alcorn to runaway with what was a competitive game for a portion of the first half, then a 5 minute drought early in the second half let Alcorn stretch the lead to 20+ that they didn't relinquish.

The lone hope for the Bayou State to make the NCAA tournament is UNO, who will take on A&M Corpus Christi on the Deuce at 8:30 tonight. Let's go privateers!
