well, the Hawks suddenly have wing needs. would take either (esp Derozan... duh) in sign and trades for Carroll.

crazy that Demarre stands to be the highest paid player on that team. wow.

82.7% of DeMarre Carroll's hoops were assisted last year, on league's best AST% team. Just signed with the league's 3rd worst AST% team.

LaMarcus Aldridge will not be joining the Lakers, The Times has learned. They were a 50-50 choice but he disliked bball part of presentation

Aldridge was floored in a good way by Houston's analytics, on-court projections in their presentation. Not so with the Lakers.

More LMA: He and Kobe didn't quite gel. It's a little vague, but Aldridge apparently didn't quite get answers from Kobe he was seeking.

I'd say the bball part of the presentation is important

Wait. You're telling me a player wasn't sold on Byron Scott's basketball mind? The Lakers should have hired a competent head coach once they realized this summer had potential.

meetings like LMA with suns right now fascinate me. what could they possibly be goign back and forth with right now that LMA didn't already know. is it a begging competition? Do they show him some real estate on the computer? Do they sit there and explain how he's the missing part to their team in some retarded manner?

So bad.

They need to stop including Kobe in free agent presentations. No one is coming to LA looking for Kobe's approval or to be his apprentice, no should they be. He's on his way out the door, at least I would hope.

Everyone wants to count out Portland w/ Aldridge -- don't do it yet. Blazers still make a compelling basketball case, still pay most money
