kind of crazy that the NBA was dancing in circles to rid itself of the Maloofs only to end up with an even worse owner in Vivek Ranadive

Deandre Jordan wants a 4 year deal and a more important role.

Cavs have interest in Mo Williams and Mike Dunleavy

Tonight, an hour before midnight, the Spurs will begin calling free agents. Gregg Popovich, however, says he won’t join in. “I’m not calling anyone at midnight,” he said. “I’ll be in bed. And if that’s the difference in someone coming or not coming, then I don’t want them.”

No one's signing a long term deal with Rondo with the damage he's done to his reputation.

At least he has money. The Maloofs were flat broke and that was the bigger problem, IIRC.

What the frick? Does he have any semblance of a post game yet? Or does he plan on having some team run their offense through him with an alley oop every possession?

As Lakers prepare for meeting with LaMarcus Aldridge tonight, I'm told Kobe Bryant is expected to take part. Not definite, but that's plan.

Ultimately, Rondo did nothing but hurt the team. Losing him is no loss.

Ellis loss is a hit, but Rondo sucked and DJ is a massive upgrade on Chandler.

Plus they likely wouldn't be done after adding Jordan

If Lamarcus is as big of a pussy as Dwight Howard is, then the Lakers need to leave Kobe at home for their pitch

@WojYahooNBA: Around the league, executives believe the Lakers are pursuing space to offer free agent deals to LaMarcus Aldridge and DeAndre Jordan.

Even w/ only Kobe & D'Angelo Russell on the roster, the Lakers don't have enough cap space to offer 2 max deals.

That ARod deal they gave Kobe though...
