I was right. A lot of geographic matchups.

Who was left out? Towson

Towson was never in

But it's the way it was seeded. Western needed to be left out. UCA deserved in before Western.

Central Arkansas had their chance, bottom line is you can't get beat by 30 at home when all eyes are watching

Sam Houston is my outside pick to go all the way. They had lots of injuries and are playing lights out

Have you watched LSU this year? You play the game for a reason.

I'm not going to say that McNeese would have won that game, but I'm not going to say that LSU would have won either. They did not look great against Miss State, and they haven't looked great all year. There have been flashes, but that is just it.

LSU likely would have won that game on depth alone. But if the last few years have been any indication, especially what happened in Lincoln last year, McNeese would have put up a fight.

The difference is, we may not have had only 1 loss. It could have very easily been multiple losses, because we tend to get pretty banged up in those FBS games.

I like the draw. Not crazy about potentially facing Sam Houston again, but I would rather see them again than Central. I think we match up well against Sam Houston, but there is no guarantee they make it back to Lake Charles. They have to play Southern Utah first.

Not going to lie, I'm glad the MVFC teams have to run the gauntlet. After watching them run their mouths on other forums for the past several weeks, I think it is sweet justice. They may still win it all (apparently some of them think this just means they will have an easy match up in the title game), but at least they will have to run the gauntlet of their own kind.

Committee did do a crap job though, but hey, it is what it is.
