And Poulter should be on the team, BEAST in match play.

Agreed - Poulter is Jack in his prime when it comes to match play.

Make it happen, Nick Price. The team needs IJP.

The international team looks like they had people turn them down. No Henrik Stenson? That guy is playing as well as anybody lately.

Speith is certainly playing well, but I think I read that out of the 10 qualifiers 3 are 1st timers. Would Freddie add another rookie? We'll know in a few hours. Personally, I hope the kid gets picked.

I honestly think Freddie is getting sick of the older guys playing because he got to see first hand how they played in the Ryder Cup last year. he also saw Keegan and the type of exuberance he showed there also, so I can def. see two younger guys getting picked

I think he might go:

Webb - experience
Spieth - youthful exuberance

Here is my thinking:

Let's face it - the President's Cup is a notch below the Ryder Cup. Is it cool to be a part of that team? Absolutely. Do the players want to play? Yes. BUT - if you are thinking forward to the next Ryder Cup it is probably best to get some experience to some guys that might be lacking. Rookies on the President's Cup are a good thing - get them prepared for the team components and pressure of head-to-head competition with your eye on the Ryder Cup. Hence why I feel Weeb and Spieth would be good picks.

That being said, I still have this funny feeling about him picking Furyk....hope I am wrong...

Way to go Freddie. Great picks.

Of course, you won't be getting a Christmas gift from Furyk.
