I'm glad I learned my lesson from last night: don't bet money that there will be points in a Bulls game.

Some important soccer gambling notes:

- Roma just sacked their manager. Results should improve (their squad is really good), but the goals may see a marked decrease.

- With South Africa out, the chances of another miracle upset run in the African Nations Cup has fallen dramatically. The three best squads left are Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, and Nigeria (Nigeria and CdI playe each other tomorrow).

- It's normally a good idea to take the over in matches involving La Liga (Spain), Eredivisie (Netherlands), and some Italian (notably Napoli) and German (Bayern, Dortmund) squads.

- Run far away from matches involving Stoke (England).

- Barcelona is awesome.

- Look at form more than league position (ex. QPR, Southampton).

- Like hockey, an in-form goalkeeper can ruin your day quickly.

Great notes. Soccer can be very profitable in the states.

0-2

my only team total was going to be Kings 1H under 48. decided not to play since I got burned by a Kings 1H under earlier this week. would've hit (easily).

eta: now 1-2
