18-0 Patriots vs 18-0 Panthers - Best Super Bowl matchup ever?

I can only imagine the storylines leading up to the game. Will probably break all television records.

Tie game leading to the last seconds. Panthers running back looks like he is tackled but no whistle is blown. He makes it to fg range and panthers win as time expires.

0% chance of this happening.

Probably not

Still probably wouldn't be as good as the first time they met in the Super Bowl--one of the best ever.

Indeed, just so we don't have to hear from punk arse Mercury Morris ever again.

Will Cam finish what Jake Delhomme couldn't?

either that one or the Rams-Titans. It was great to see the Titans lose.
only b/c Jeff Fisher is such a fricking tool.

And they weren't the Oilers.

I'd rather see the Panthers than the damn Giants.

Panthers have massive "home team gets destroyed in the playoffs by a wildcard" potiential

I don't know about the Panthers but I don't believe the Patriots will have the horses to run the table. They are very injured on offense and their defense isn't exactly elite.

Yeah, I don't see them keeping this up.

i don't like the Panthers but they keep winning ugly... consistently.
they'll be in the Super Bowl I think.

Have you seen the rest of the league? Honestly the Pats have lost a ton, but Pittsburgh has lost a lot (and Ben's injured), the Broncos have fallen apart, the Bengals strike me as above average in every category but there's just something that doesn't strike fear about them in a big game.
Vollmer and Cannon are coming back soon, which pushes Stark back to the center position. Eds should be back for the playoffs, but they'll compensate like always. This isn't 2011, they don't have to be the greatest offense of all time, the defense is pretty damn good in it's own right.
I also firmly believe they are keeping the plastic wrap on Gronk and will fully unleash him in the playoffs.

New England Patriots are 9-0.
Carolina Panthers are 9-0.
The two teams do not play each other this season and are both in different divisions (AFC and NFC). Technically, your "0% chance of this happening" is incorrect.

Been pretty damn good this year. You're right about health on offense but the defense is plenty good enough to make a super bowl run

Yep. Because running the ball and playing defense is not going to work in the playoffs

Not exactly the 85 bears over there and eventually throwing the Tedd Ginn on third down will be the down fall.

What have the Cam lead Panthers ever done in the playoffs besides beat one of the worst starting QBs of all time?
