Having played Oakmont twice it is a beast.
As a single digit handicapper I shot 88 and 80 while playing from the front of the Championship tees.
Best quote was from a caddy with 35 years experience, "just because you can read the print on the ball doesn't mean it is going to stop anytime soon."

I like how Fox has the tracker on the ball. Good for golf. Bad for hockey. The one thing they need to do is not update the leader scores before showing us the video of what they just did.

steve stricker failed to qualify ... vijay is probably going to fail ... bryson dechambeau shoots -9 over 2 rounds to qualify, so that's a chance to earn some more money ... had to shoot a 63 in his 2nd round to qualify ...
