Pardon my ignorance but can someone explain to me why the better seeded teams are not granted home field advantage in the playoffs?
What is the mindset there? How is a team NOT rewarded for being better?
Example: 4A Neville is #1 yet was on the road to Carencro tonight.
In what world does that make sense?

After the first round, the team that was on the road last game gets to have the home game. Prevents lower seeded teams from having to travel every week the entire playoffs

It doesn't make sense. At least, the higher seeded team automatically gets home field advantage in the semi-final round.

That is absolute bullshite.
If you don't want to travel, win more games. Your reward as the lower ranked team for winning a playoff game is still being IN the playoffs.

Instead of that millenial everyone gets a trophy safe space-esque move by the LHSAA the playoff teams should split the game gate 60/40 or 70/30.

Neville will be home 3 out of 4 games. Sucks, but they handled business.
