Everyone has that friend that barely graduated college with a 2.2 that now sells life insurance, you just have to find him.

matrix direct, they usually go through American General. I have a million dollar, 20 year policy and pay $40 a month.

The Hartford. I haven't died yet but check back later and see how it turns out.

By the way, side note...I don't even know why I have Life Insurance right now...I'm 25, no kids, no wife, no co-signers on any of my outstanding credit...

I'm carrying over $300,000 worth of life insurance to just give my parents free money. What's the point of this.

The one major consideration when choosing a Life company is the financial strength and ability to pay your death claim. Good Luck.

FWIW I use USAA for EVERYTHING.

They cut you deals when you group services through them, and typically have low rates and great prices in general.

I'll go with state farm. The insurance is generally cheap due to the fact the company is so fricking big. But mostly, state farm will offer discounts if you have multiple policies with them, i think.

BTW, just so I don't get ridiculed too much for this...i do work in the financial industry but not for state farm or any insurance company.

I have a 300k but wanted to add another 500k policy.

they told me it will be like 36 dollars a month for 500k, 30 year term. Im about to be 31.

I just did the checkup today and my blood pressure was a little high, so they may decline me.

Get the insurance now, then if you loose the weight they should re rate you if you pay for the medical exam, if not then you could just replace it with another policy. By doing this you are insured and if something big changes in your medical history you still have insurance, if you do not get something now, try to loose the weight (it is holiday time) something weird happen and you get diagnosed, you may become un insurable.

as for which companies... do you belong to any professional orginzations? They sometimes have great deals, also look for strong companies, I choose New York Life. Now is also a good time to look at long-term disablity insurance
