What is the average cost for a commercial real estate appraisal?

It obviously depends on what you are doing. Standard appraisals cost between $2500 and $5000 would be the normal ones we get. That's a pretty good range to me.

Depends on the property type.. I am a commercial appraiser. Most simpler stuff is closer to $2,000 (land, small offices, single tenant stuff), more complex properties can be around $5,000. Very complex stuff can go much higher.. Fees have gotten lower in recent years as well.

This is all based on Birmingham, AL. Imagine BR and NOLA are similar.. It is based on how busy appraisers/banks are.

ETA: Should be able to get a quote from any appraisers in town also. Also just saw you're in TX. Fees are probably slightly higher there.
