What do you look for....

when picking stocks? Mutual funds? Etc.?
When looking at financial statements, charts, profit and losses, etc., what numbers/ratios make an investment attractive to you? Basically just interested in advice on the analysis and decision making process behind making specific purchases, and things to look out for.
