Aside from your your job. Do you own a stake in a business, or trade on the stock market?

What are things you might do to make a secondary income? Or what ideas do you have to diversify your income?

Test/calibrate components that have to do with my full time job. I've found its easiest to make side money doing smaller parts of my full time job that are usually contracted out for over priced amounts when I have free time

Umpire baseball/softball and referee basketball, and tutoring. I've been doing it for years and it really is great money for side jobs.

Guitar!

Lessons - $100/month, but I try to keep the number of students I have on the low end. I don't really like teaching guitar.

Wedding ceremonies - $500 a wedding. I'm averaging one a month, and this past week, I somehow booked two weddings that wanted me to play the reception as well. I wasn't sure what to charge, so I just asked for another $250.

Gigs - Typically $75 a man for our band. We've been playing once a week the past few months.

It's a successful year if I make $10k with guitar. If I could find it in me to dedicate one day (say Monday or Tuesday afternoon and evening) to teaching lessons, I could double my side income.

Teach cooking classes, the occasional college class, & do some writing for hire. Prob spend 10X the time on volunteer stuff than on paid stuff (gov't and nonprofit).

Surprised there are no Uber drivers up in here. I don't have any side jobs. I work a lot of hours at my main job.

Teach extra classes online. 2 schools besides my FT gig.

I buy stock in companies - basically ones that I think provide a good product or service. For example, I bought Iberia bank because they neither wanted nor needed the bailout.
I don't really trade.
Don't look too deep at charts, but I prefer to buy when the stock is down.
I don't momentum trade.
I don't buy stock in companies whose business I don't understand (which, frankly, is a lot of them).

I own part of a struggling small business, well might be bigger than small since we are about 10M in revenue.

I don't do shite but watch my investment dwindle.

I also grow marijuana, but I just give that away to my friends. they ask to buy it but I don't think its worth the risk.
