Interestingly enough I don't see many folks giving him ideas on a business he can start. You may dislike my delivery, but why let that take away from the OP.

Why not contribute to his efforts and suggest ideas on what he can do to be successful? How are my responses any different than Iraqi Dinar responses to countless what should I invest in threads here?

Hmmm.

No One else felt the need to write 1000 words trying to bury the guy. I have a feeling you have a very small penis.

See, that may be the best lesson GFunk has ever gotten in his life. Your old boss must have sat you down one time on his lap and explained what tact is and how to not be a self-important dipshit.

I know. What we had originally wanted to do was open a daycare center. We had picked out a location that we know of that doesn't have a daycare and has a lot of large employers nearby so the market would be good.
But then when we started looking at insurance, licensing, etc., we realized the start-up costs would be significantly more than we can risk.
Then my sister thought about keeping a couple of kids in-house to get us off the ground, but it would take so long to save up for our initial investment, that we thought a small business may jump-start us to reach our long-term goal.
But these small business ideas seem too small. We will keep searching, may explore the CPR class idea.

Thank you to everyone who has offered kind advice and encouragement.
I didn't realize Bill Gates posts here as GFunk, but clearly so since GFunk is so incredibly successful that he's worried about me and my sister "standing on his shoulders" and stealing his empire.

Why am I not surprised that Alabama Fans can not only differentiate between various penis sizes but prefer the feel of larger ones?

Oh and :nohomo:

OP if your precious feelings are hurt then I apologize. If my delivery was off and not able to convey my personal distaste more tactfully then I apologize for that as well. But I've seen plenty of folks here show up with alleged thousands in hand asking for investment advice hat in hand who are responded to with Bitcoin and Iraqi dinar references endlessly. No real outrage from these folks when that happens. So let me attempt to rephrase.

I personally have a lot of potential business ideas though I think you don't even have to have a sibling involved if you don't truly prefer to. If you do, then I still have suggestions. But I don't think you've provided enough detail-nor enough initiative-to dig into it. I was trying to convey that I think you should research a bit more before asking for others to help you brainstorm.

That may be unpopular. So be it. But if you or others think it was or is a mean spirited take, I apologize for offending you with either it or my delivey. Again please allow me to apologize for however much (or little) its worth.

If the guy wants to come in here and lay bare his goals and resources and likes and dislikes, he could probably get some responses with suggestions. But without that info, suggesting something is just stupid.

The startup costs are significant especially if you build your own building.

Could you bring on some investors and/or get some bank funding?

Have you looked at the franchise places like Kindercare and Kids R Kids? They may have preferred financing options, but I have no concept if the royalties are reasonable or not.
