Fellow TDers any advice would be greatly appreciated! After some research and interviews for an Advisor position and an Insurance Producer position, I've decided that a career as an Analyst or in Compliance would be a better fit. I graduated with a 4.0 in Finance and a minor in Acct, but I played a sport in college which didn't give me a chance to get any experience.

I'm in search of a position with a decent starting salary($40k+) and solid training program that will put me on the right track for future success.

Any ideas or suggestions?

TIA and

Management of Producers don't typically like Compliance, so if you want a career as a producer, start there. If you want to stay in Compliance for the long term, start there.

Think about what you want to do long term, start at the bottom and do what it takes to move up.

Commercial banking comes to mind.
