I have a Simple IRA through work. I re-allocated a little over a year ago and stopped contributing to a fund I once contributed to. I just saw that fund automatically "cashed in"?

Is that a thing?

If it doesn't meet the minimum balance that the fund requires it will liquidate it. If that fund knows you're on bank draft it will allow you to purchase into it below the minimum.

Banking on social security being around in 40 years, I see. Yikes/bold call.
