I am in the market for a signature loan and my bank has offered me the rate 8.15%. It would be for 8000 and a term for 48 months. I believe its a good rate based on the two or three other lenders I have looked at, does anyone else have a recommendation.

Try one of the peer to peer lending sites. I believe they advertise rates better than that but I suppose it would depend on your credit score.

My credit union has signature loan rate at 7.95% for Tier 1 credit, so 8.15% is probably solid.

I've been looking around, too, and found a 6.9% signature loan rate at La Capitol. It's a temporary rate, though -I'm not sure when it changes.

Signature loan rates??

Just over a year ago, I obtained 5.9 % fixed rate from La Capitol FCU.

Used the funds to build a pool. Smart, no. But if I default, they can come get the in-ground pool and I can keep my house.

Wife just got $10k limit on credit card with 6.99% at GNO Federal Credt Union. They have no fees or different rates for cash advance or annual fee in general. Open $15 savings to be member. She is a teacher with one rental house and a 750-800 score. Took 2 hours to hear back approval and got cash advance right after before card came in.

Thanks for the help. I put in an application at Lacap, I have been a member there and they handle my previous auto loans. Hope to hear back tomorrow.
