I recently sold my home and am moving out of state. We are not planning on buying a new home for probably 6 to 12 months. I have about $80k and would like to earn at least a little interest on it. Does anyone have any recs? Thank you!

This. If you want little to no risk, prepare for little to no return.

Since the OP wants this as a downpayment on the next home, I'm assuming that is the case and he should just stuff it in high-yield savings or something like that.

I would just put it in a 1% interest savings account if you are only saving it for that period of time.

You can get a 1% APY on Ally Savings Acct. Not bad if you're trying to access it in less than a year.
