I just looked it up; I spent $28k on my two cc's (Discover and Cabela's) last year. They are both rewards cards and I like that the Discover gives me so much float. But at $28k a year, I'm nearly an OT baller. I wonder if I can do better. Any suggestions? Airline miles don't do me much good because I don't fly much, and when I do it's in my Gulfstream. Tia

Amex Gold. Leave the other lines open though and charge small amounts to them so it doesn't negatively affect your credit score.

What was the $28k on? I just got the Chase Ink card that gives 5% on office supplies, 2% on gas and lodging and 1% on everything else.

Chase freedom has the quarterly categories where you get 5% back and the rest is 1%. Got me about $1,000 last year, maybe a little more. There are also bonuses if you have checking accounts with chase.

Chase freedom used to be the tits. Bow it sucks.

Cash back - Amex blue
Hotel points - Amex Hilton (use points for luxury stays) or Amex Starwood ( use points for low budget stays)
Air miles - probably still Amex

I use PenFed for gas (5%) and CapOne for everything else (1.5%).

Don't have pics of the new one, but this is the jet I just traded off:

I also upgraded to an OT 10 while I was at it. I gave her my 2010 M5.
