Carefree and credit are two words that don't go together.

It's really, really hard to take you seriously when you talk like this...

You are probably the most immature poster to ever grace the money board and that's saying a lot.

You seem to ask the same types of questions that many people ask at times here. But MT is a bit different from the Costa Click you seem used to. It's like you want to come hat in hand but you can't resist biting the hand that you ask to feed you.

In general, you stroke me as a Bro who has a chip the size of Texas on your shoulder. Not sure where it came from. After a bit of interaction here, I can tell you mean well. I can also tell you sometimes can't help but get in your own way.

Anyway, I'm serious when I suggest the loan over the Credit Card. If something goes south with the payments it's way easier to work with the folks at the bank and their collections department than it is some monolithic credit card company.

Walking into the Branch and talking to a rep there can help your cause on multiple fronts compared to being a faceless, nameless account number with an accompanying voice from millions of miles away when talking about your account. A local bank branch also has direct authority to work with you to correct payment histories or undo adverse reporting if you skip a payment etc.

In short, when talking about building credit, don't think CC's until you've built a tad better foundation. Based on what you're saying and our previous discussions, the more personalized service and attention you get, the better it will be.

A finite-amount on a small loan will report on your bureaus and help your credit and also prevent you from overextending yourself the way a credit card might, and still give you localized, face to face servicing options that might bail you out in a jam, and when it comes to finances it's always good to consider the worst case scenario and plan around that.

Good luck brah.
