I'm looking to purchase a 2015 Toyota venza XLE with the premium package in blizzard pearl V6 FWD. Got one of the dealers around Baton Rouge down to 32,500. Can I get a better deal, I'm willing to give them 3% over dealer's cost? Any input will be appreciated.

ETA: got the salesman down to $32,000 before TTL. He tried to pull a quick one on me, charging $500 for documentation/whatever fees; strike 1.

ETA2: Some info I found on the vehicle.
Invoice Price: $30940
Destination Charge: $885
customer incentive: $2000
Options @Invoice: 1695 for premium package(1905MSRP)
Option @invoice: 352 blizzard pearl color(395MSRP)

One thing I don't know is the factory to dealer holdback.

I doubt he's the one that quoted me; I got different quotes from dealers around the state and just seeing which dealer deserves my business based on integrity.

ETA: Judging from his post history, he has some sound advice for other make vehicles.

Coach is a good guy, he's put up with my silly hi-jinx before both patiently and without rancor.

If I weren't finished buying vehicles for a while, I'd trust him with a purchase.

First off.... ...got to love rookies.

I'll be honest and say I don't know much about Toyota...but of course I have friends who do.So I will give them a call.

32k is a very fair number, just as long as the fees and whatnot are not out of line.

Your fees should max out around 385. If they are including Vin-Etching then that should not exceed over 200. (Youll get tons of arguments about Vin Etching...some stating it will not save you money on insurance but some companies actually do honor Vin Etching)

Also...look at APR of course. Toyota will offer "0%" APR...but at the cost of the selling price.

For sake of saving a few dollars, offer him 31k...but if you end up at the 32k mark then I'd say its a good deal.

Good-Luck

Thanks coach for your response. I emailed a few places asking 31500 but nobody budge. Hopefully I won't get raped in the financing department with a credit score around 750.

Go to a credit union or call PenFed Credit union -NEVER finance with dealer unless it is under 2%

Coach is right on the price is you only do internet negotiation- If you go in the dealership you can do better if you know how to negotiate-
