I don't have much information about investing in good oil companies. I know oil is dropping like it's hot and I'm looking to dump some cash in the industry. anyone recommendation regarding some good strong companies?

PBR fits the bill, has tumbled to ~$7 from a high of ~$72. I doubt a $47 billion dollar company will just dissolve due to their varying issues.

Once oil hits $40 per barrel then I'm jumping in HOS. Major upside here.

I just wonder when the right time to grab the falling knife will be?

I think oil goes into the 30's before it turns around.

Secretary General for OPEC, just this day, indicated he thinks prices are likely to settle where they are now and begin to uptick

I missed the in on xom, Cox, and cop while waiting for a rollover to hit the account. Hopefully there is another slide before things settle.

I tend to avoid companies with accounting issues at all costs......I can't think of many companies who have had major accounting scandals that thrived following.....PBR is in a unique spot, but I wouldn't touch it with a 15' pole.
