Moving 1200 miles. Should I pay for insurence on uhaul

I'll be towing one of our cars. It's 100 bucks extra. Just wondering what the MT opinion is on the matter. I always assumed the insurence was a rip off because they obviously have all of their vehicles covered no matter what.

I did. I moved 1200 miles myself and towed a car. You can write off moving expenses if you do itemized deductions so I'd do it if I were you. $100 seems like a lot, but there's a ton that can go wrong with a uhaul and towing a car for 1200 miles. shite happens.
Plus, you might want to check with your insurance company. They may not cover you driving the uhaul.

Call your insurance company and ask if your policy covers it.
Some companies cover it on your regular auto policy and some don't. Depends on the company.
Then again, what do I know? Seems lately I get assraped whenever I give my opinion on insurance around here.

get the insurance. 100 is alot better than having to pay 1000's to repair the damn truck if something goes wrong.
