I dont think so. SLW is a defacto royalty play. At some price point, perhaps right now, it is a very good company to own. Lower silver prices don't impact SLW as much as some would believe.

If we get to $18.00 SLV, and my cost basis of one tranche is under $10, what would your thoughts be on selling. What percentage gain given the period of time I have held is acceptable? How much as a percentage of holdings?
I'm thinking sell a small amount (starting at 15%) at no less than double my basis, and letting cash sit around. At that point, wait and see.

IG,
Where do you buy your physical silver? Although I probably do not buy in the amounts you do (normally 1X100 OZ bar at a time), I've always used NWTMintBullion in the past, but haven't bought in a while.
I'm about to increase my buying here in the near future, so looking for some references
Edit: I saw rosa, but did not find anything on Google if you were talking about using her as a dealer.
On Another note: Do any of you stick to a particular "brand" when buying bullion? Or do you go with whatever is cheapest? I used to buy only engelhard, but am thinking of going with the mint's brand I use.

Local dealer. I have no idea who Rosa is?

Im assuming you read some of her analysis? But it was right after a question about your dealer. What city in Iowa?
I'm in Iowa city and would much rather drive somewhere to get it than ship.

Give me some sort of contact information, and I'll get you the names of two trustworthy persons I buy from.
With respect to Rosa Abrantes-Metz, her analysis and conclusions always seem to be pretty well thought out, and backed up with empirical evidence, so I usually at least read what she has to say. There is so much smoke surrounding some of this stuff, I have to consider there is some fire there as well.
