Even the life long hard core Crackberry addicts are jumping ship. I think BBRY is done in its current avatar.

Blackberry has some really cool shite.

The current model phones honestly blow iPhone and Android handsets out of the water.

Unfortunately, it was too little too late, and the BBRY ecosystem sucks.

I was a big fan of blackberry... Had one for a long time. Then went to the early windows phone(was awful). Then came back to blackberry and now have an iphone

I have considered the z10 but doubt I'll pull the trigger

It really is the best phone no one knows about.

Are you talking about the one with the keyboard or the full touch? I had considered them both when I upgrade but am prolly gonna go with the new iphone when it comes out. Anyone know when that is supposed to be? I know they are introducing it next month.

I tested a Q10 for a while and it was better than the iPhone 5 for my purposes. But then all I am interested in is making phone calls (the phones were about even) and sending emails (Q10 by a big margin). I really DGAF about anything else. This puts me squarely in the "cranky old man" demographic of mobile phone users.

In short, RIM's problem is that they are still making communication devices, but what people want is toys.

They both operate the same. I like the Q10 because I need a phone with a good email client and browser. The lack of apps don't bother me but I can see how it is a huge issue for others.

Also as great as the phone is, I think the end is near for Blackberry. Their latest effort was too little too late.

The terrible app ecosystem on BB is its doom.

Truth.
Bb is best phone email out there for work environments. That being said i will stick with my android. Because of the toy side of it.

My company announced recently that they will not be supporting the new Blackberry OS. I would imagine other firms are doing the same. As others stated it is too little too late. Companies like mine have already invested in supporting Apple and Android devices.

Hey I'm not saying that BB10 is perfect, but as an OS it is pretty fricking awesome.

The stuff they can do with partitioning the phone separately for a work and personal profile without mixing the data is something that iPhone and android SORELY lack. I know this doesn't resonate with the population but this is a huge issue in BYOD and mobile security.

Read up on their QNX kernel. Blackberry has great technology, just a little late to the party.

And I'm a pretty big Apple guy/have an iPhone so no I'm not just some blackberry homer who is clinging to it.
