Be sure to incorporate first.

So you work on an idea for 6 years and right when you're ready to launch you come post on Tigerdroppings (not even the money board) looking for some advice?

Seems like a flawless plan. I'm sure you have an impeccable business model and your product will revolutionize fantasy sports.

I'd love to find an investor from La. to do this project. It involves sports, mainly football. It will be high profile and well known world wide.

How are you going to get around the current ban on online gambling in the US? What will stop DOJ from shutting you down like they did online poker?

This thread is so full of fail, it's actually full of win.

I wish I could have this guy's exuberence. I would be a millionaire in 3 years.

guess a million dollar prize would never get someone interested. What am I thinking??

It wouldn't get me interested. As an occasional player myself I know that would get the attention of people who play for a living, ensuring I have no shot.

BTW, how much in licensing fees are you planning to give the NFL? And other leagues too, since you're planning on international exposure.

I'm not here to do research for you. Develop your idea, get some sales experience, make it work on a small scale and come back. Maybe Mark Cuban will work with you. But I just cant see us getting along.

No but you can throw out unfounded bs you're guessing at?

You think you know, but you just don't know. 40 million people play fantasy football, how can you do it on a small scale??

I think it would work if the prize was $200K. But it will work faster with 1 mil., don't you think. I can't get into defending this thing b/c I can't tell you the most important huge aspects you're not getting and I can't get into. I've let out about 25% of the projects guts.

There's more than just the money involved in the prize.

I contacted Shark Tank.

I have completely developed show treatment, biz plan, power points and it's registered with the Writers Guild. Can't patent it. Can't start small- no reason to.

Fantasy Football is going to be made a high stakes experience.

The biggest payout in Fantasy Football in history and become a celebrity of sorts. 40 million people played this year and all of them played for less.

From the time of investment to getting paid back will be 3 months. Invest in June and get paid initial investment back plus.

We don't want any blank checks. We want to go over any checks ahead of time if you want to be hands on. Deposit the big payout 200K to 1 mil) to a bank or something similar. Website design, espn, yahoo, cbs ad banners, production costs and we're ready to rock.

The guts of this project are fantastic. I'm getting depressed b/c this season went by without us doing it again. There is some really cool BIG things that are associated with this.

If you believe that this idea is possible b/c of Fantasy football popularity and have some access to a possible investor, think about getting in touch. If someone here wants a very nice finders fee as the go between, then that's in play as well.

Believe me! I am fricking depressed enough to come on TD and throw this out there. It's serious weight, though.

I believe there are all walks of life on TD, so maybe someone would want to turn their lil couple million into much more in three months time. I'm so tired of being poor, I come crawling from the dessert of American dreams looking for one reader to have the light bulb turn on.

Fantasy Football was ruled a game of skill many years ago. We will break no laws and receive money from players.

OK, if you've researched that I'll take it at face value. Personally I have no idea.

Aren't what you're really asking for is a sponsor?

The $300k you need to "start" the product would be investments for a share of the company. Nobody is going to put up prize money as an investment.

Lawyer couldn't find a thing wrong with it. I got all tensed up watching Shark Tank tonight. haha. Probably Cuban would love this. I wish I could pitch it to him personally.

We've had a long time to go over every expense and the we left more room to make sure. There's a lot to this, much more revenue than entry fees, also.

Nope. Not even close. There is nothing remotely like what we are planning. We are bringing entertainment.
