Any suggestions? I am not overly concerned with risk either. I am already too heavily involved in oil&gas.

QQQ

The QQQ is an ETF that trades on the Nasdaq and tracks the Nasdaq 100 Index. The PowerShares QQQ Trust Series 1 tracks 100 of the largest international and domestic companies, excluding financial companies that are listed on the Nasdaq market, based on market capitalization

$1k takes away the option of anything over $20 or more per share I would think. Depending on how much you pay per trade you might be trying to buy something of at least 50+ shares?

Under $20 per share I also like some banks. There's some regional ones that I've eyed up lately.

Thanks Buddy. Made $1k in one day off of your tip. How do you find stocks like this?

You're better off not knowing. I'd have fun with that extra grand or invest it in something steady. Ignorance is bliss

I played penny stocks a long while ago and learned that lesson, never again.

I'm in the process of getting my arse handed to me daily. I'm pretty close to taking my loss and cashing out.

I do have a "lotto ticket" position in LNGLF. I think it may spike to $2-3 sometime in the next year if they can get enough contracts to break construction on the Magnolia plant. It is under $1, but has a legit management team so i'm not sure I would quite place it in penny stock category.
