What dollar amount would you have to make to give up your Saturday?

I would place mine at about $400-$500.

$300 for a one off. If we're talking about losing my Saturday for the next year, I'd say $500 per.

I'll trade it for some nice boiled crawfish and a couple of cold beer. My time is worth that much.

I make multiples of this during the week so it would have to be substantially more.

Right now? If you have me 200 dollars and a chance for more experience I'd do it.

Meaning to start working 6 days/week every week? Probably $1000+. Did enough 6-7 day weeks when I was a grad student. Start burning out quick

I doubt anyone would believe me but it would have to be some crazy amount like $5000.00.

My job is rewarding but very busy and demanding. My time off helps me recharge and be better the other 5 days that I work.

It would take obscene levels of money to make me give up more of my limited family time.

I have friends who will pay money to get away from their families. Give me your email and he'll paypal you the 5K for next Saturday.

$100K/yr salary = $385/day (5day work week)

I'll gladly work a Saturday for $300.

Woke up at 6am yesterday. Had a large OJ and a cup of coffee.
Was at LSU for 7:30 (drove in from Walker).
Waited for 3+ hours to take a timed exam that took me 4+ hours.
All for no money whatsoever. Just a certification.

Did not get home till 4.

I am already gainfully employed w/retirement, health and life insurance at a gig from 8-5pm, M-F.

This was all so I could make some change on the side hustling after work hours, on my lunch break and on the weekends.

So for me? I gave up my Saturday for nothing yesterday in a sense. Even had Chairbacks at the Box for this weekend. Hell I gave up Champions Club seats I could have gone back to in order to study Friday Night.

I figure it will pay off down the road. I can't invest thousands in Spider Funds and ETF's and individual stocks. Can't buy rental properties. But I want to be able to. Yesterday was another step towards it.

I frequently have to work Saturdays. Hospitals never close.

But...I'm still off my usual 4 days a week so I don't mind.

With kids, they're pretty invaluable. There are a handful of Saturdays in any given year with nothing going on that I could give up for around $500. The others are non-negotiable.

A one of is usually pretty cheap. If I am working regularly, then around $800/day.

They down vote you because you seem extra douchey here lately. No one gives a frick about your certifications or how much you're sacrificing. You find a way to work that in to every post. That's why they're downvoting you, my man.

Right, the 10 down votes on his post really bear out him talking about nurse. I'm familiar with your work as well, and he is really lucky to have someone of your caliber knight for him.
