Help with a goal statement on a resume

It is currently " To be a productive member at any position granted to me and to gain knowledge in this particular field for future use."

Good, bad? Any suggestions?

Terrible if you want my honest opinion.

I hate objective statements. They already know what job you are applying for. If you must have one make it a summary statement about your abilities/skills.

Never had one then was told it was a must have, guess I will just leave it off.

probably from a theater or english major working in HR. the guy doing their hiring won't care, but it probably impresses the person filtering the resumes...

I have a "Summary Statement" that reads like this:

Experienced (insert industry) with significant project execution experience, business development partnerships, and financial negotiations which have allowed (clients) to become a benchmark for peer growth.

I've never understood the goal statement on a resume and have never put one on there. A bad one or one that is misinterpreted by only 1 person looking at it lands it in the garbage can.
