I never post on this board because I rarely have anything to offer. However, I could use some help on this purchase. I used Will Covers method, the best I could. This is for people that have an insight on GM vehicles.

The main issue is that this is a rare truck. Only 3 within 500 miles of BR.

This is what the sales guy sent me this morning,

Good Morning ICS, here's your breakdown on the 6.2 V8 All Terrain...
MSRP: 51,925
Supplier discount: 48,225
$3700 savings
Trade: 30,500
(Additional assistance) 33,000
$2500 Savings
Rebates: 1250

Total: $13,975 +TTL & Payoff
Total Savings(-rebates): $6700

How raw of a deal am I getting? Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Eta: I think I can get $1500 more for my truck. They rolled the trade assist into the trade value when that's a discount. A dealer in Houston already offered me 33-34k sight unseen.

Be careful with the dealers in Houston. Will likely retract that offer once you are in the door.

That's what someone on the OB just said. I don't mind 33k trade offer but not when it includes the trade incentive. The NADA is 33-34k.

This is similar to what was quoted to me by a personal friend who owns a GMC dealership. Apparently there is no negotiating. Didn't even seem willing to talk below the supplier discount savings. Seems like you may have some room to work on trade in?

I bought the same vehicle back on December 31st. The sticker was $52,155. I paid $46,750. The incentives seem to be much better now. All I had was the rebate. There doesn't seem to be too many of these around. The dealer had to get mine from New Iberia. (FYI: there have been two recalls already. Maybe you can use that for leverage.)

What are you trading in?

ETA: Have you checked Ross Downing in Hammond? We were there about a week ago and they had a few of the All Terrains on the lot. Not sure if they were 6.2 though. I have an '11 All Terrain with the 5.3 and I love it

Mind saying what dealership? I don't mind helping out a guy if I can. I'm hoping for 1-1.5k more on trade and I'll buy.

Rocket, there is 1 within 500 miles of Houston and not even the color that I like. I just had a dealer call me and he is going to try and find a Denali for the same price.

Forever, 2011 F150 Platinum 6.2.
There are lots of All terrains but none with the 6.2. I'll give them a call though. Thanks.

I'm only going to bump this thread once in hopes of getting some new opinions. Below is another quote for a truck with the same package but more options, hence the higher msrp.

Nobody has been able to find the truck I want except this guy. If he can drop the price another 1k and guarantee me 34k on my trade, he is comparable.

Thanks for taking the time to talk with me sir. Below is the option list for the truck we talked about.
MSRP is $53,155
Selling price is $48,079+TTL.
Theses trucks only have $1,250 in rebates, unless you work for a company that has the GM Supplier Discount or if you're a member of USAA.

That's not nearly enough discount for me to buy a truck. I bet in 6 months there will be huge discounts on these for two reasons: 1) end of the year and 2) the 2015 F-150 will be showing up in November. The All Terrain looks sweet, but I'm spoiled for $10k off sticker as a starting point for any half ton truck.

Yeah its nice that Ford does that but it just shows how much more they markup their trucks. I have had several GM dealers let me walk when they only offer 5-6k off sticker, there just isnt as much markup.
