Wait, so huge government subsidies into the healthcare industry will make their stocks go up? And taking those away would cause them to drop? You aren't that bright are you?

And take this bullshite to the Poli board if you have a sandy vagina about Trump.

This was a headline on Fox Business Report, not on Fox News, so it belongs on a forum for stock pickers.

I have lots of $ in T. Rowe, Vanguard and Fidelity healthcare stocks.

The Vanguard mutual fund paid for a new house with no mortgage in 2014.

I would suggest adding this to the OP + links to arrive/relevant financial stories. It defines and focuses on the relevant financial topic: "Trump/Obamacare/politics impact on Med Insurer investment"

Whether or not Trump takes credit isn't really a financial topic. That discussion is only tangentially related to finance at best + likely to get politicized

To judge from this year's performance of the Vanguard Health Care ETF (VHT), healthcare stocks are only plunging if you flip the chart upside down. Certain stocks did decline about 3-5% this past Friday but that's fairly minor for the broader healthcare market. VHT is up 20% so far this year even after Friday and is still less than 1% from the high.

If you want to post political stuff there is a separate board for that.
