What other apps/websites do you use?

I am over Mint. It is always failing to connect to my accounts. My investment portfolio shows that I am down 30% since August which completely wrong.

I don't need anything for monthly budgeting. I just like to be able to get a snapshot of my bank account, credit cards, assets, 401k, and investment accounts all in one place.

YNAB. $50/year but you can get a free months trial. Even without the budgeting, it has been great to keep up with all my accounts.

Personal Capital might be what you're looking for here.

Personal Capital looks awesome.

Unfortunately, my main bank refuses to work with their platform.

If you're just looking to look at bank and investment balances, then you're looking for personal capital. It's a nice website and a good app.

I had Quicken, and I hated it. I went back to Mint after 2 weeks. Personal Capital can struggle to update accounts as well, but imo it's the best way to quickly look in on your investments and accounts.

Edit: Quicken was very quick and easy to get a refund for though. They give you 60 days free trial and, if you don't like it, just uninstall the program and ask for a refund. They send you a check in the mail.

There are so many things that piss me off about the mint app. Simple things that it should be able to monitor but doesn't.

Personal Capital kept calling me for their services so I cancelled the account.

If you have over 100k in investments they will hound the shite out of you.

For example, it will ask you if you paid your bills on certain days and how much was it. Yet the app has the amount and the category usually marked already such as utilities or mortgage. It should be able to see that it's paid and automatically know you paid the bill and how much it was

I endorse YNAB as well. Well done, easy to understand - straightforward, customizable budget. It doesn't try to do much else. That's a good thing.

NVM - I didn't read your whole post - if you don't need it for monthly budgeting, then YNAB isn't the right tool in all likelihood.
