What are you guys thoughts on emerging market etf's? US markets are way to expensive for me right now and emerging markets have gained 19% since Jan 1st. A couple of analysts I follow think we could see >50% gains over the next few years.

There's nothing at all wrong with EM ETF's as part of a strategy, in fact I have some myself. But don't time the markets. They are what they are, and you don't know better than Wall Street does.

My only other thought is that although it's always good advice to read the prospectus, it's especially true in this sector. Some EM funds invest mostly in countries that can only charitably be called "emerging", like Myanmar or Sudan. That can be okay if that's what you're looking for of course, but not if you're not (I'm not). Other EM funds invest in pretty modern countries like Chile or Brazil. There's a big difference between the two and you won't know the difference until you read that prospectus.
